WHY GRASS FED?
Animals raised on native forage grow slower naturally. In their natural element, they need no added growth hormones or antibiotics. The nutrient rich grasses produce beef that is tender, flavorful, and high in omega 3 fatty acids, beta carotene and CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid). Grass fed beef helps reduce the risk of heart disease and is much lower in saturated fat and cholesterol.
In our practices of sustainable resource management, combined with holistic land management, we use tools like rotational grazing (moving cattle to new grass every few days seasonally), soil conservation, and preserving natural migratory patterns for local animals.
While establishing and creating a healthy relationship with our natural resources, it becomes more relevant each day why agriculture, resource management, our food and community, and our future should be considered as a whole.
